Selbstgemachte Energieriegel

Im September fuhren wir 155 Kilometer mit dem Rad in nur eineinhalb Tagen. Diese Dattel-Müsli-Riegel waren ein Lebensretter. Ich kann also versichern: ja, sie sind verdammt lecker und ja, sie sind echte Energiespender! In Butterbrotpapier oder Backpapier gewickelt, sind diese Energieriegel auch der perfekte Snack für unterwegs. Endlich hat das Rezept seinen Weg auf den Blog gefunden, um mit euch geteilt zu werden. Also viel Spaß damit!

Selbstgemachte Energieriegel

Zutaten (8 extra große Riegel, je 0,75 €)

  • 300 g Dattelmasse (im türkischen Supermarkt erhältlich)
  • 4 EL Kokosöl
  • 4 EL Erdnussbutter
  • 60 g Mandeln
  • 50 g Kürbiskerne
  • 150 g Haferflocken
  • 1 EL Zimtpulver
  • 1 EL Kakaopulver
  • 1 Daumennagel großes Stück Ingwer
  • 100 ml Wasser

Preparation

1. Die Mandeln in kleine Stücke hacken. Ingwer schälen und fein reiben.

2. Die Dattelmasse mit Kokosöl, Erdnussbutter, Wasser und Gewürzen verrühren. Den Rest der Zutaten hinzugeben und alles miteinander verkneten.

3. In eine mit Backpapier ausgelegte Backform geben. Gut andrücken.

4. Für etwa 30 Minuten im Ofen backen (150 Grad Celsius).

5. Abkühlen lassen und in handgerechte Riegel schneiden. Die Energy Bars können in einem luftdichten Behältnis im Kühlschrank mindestens mehrere Tage, wahrscheinlich auch mehrere Wochen gelagert werden.
