Bavarian Hot Dog with Vegan Bratwurst and Sauerkraut

- 4 soft pretzel bread sticks
- 4 vegan sausages (brats)
- 8 tbsp sauerkraut
- 4 tbsp mustard
- 2 cl beer
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp lingonberry jam, or cranberry jam
- salt + pepper
- vegetable oil
Halve the onion and slice thinly. Fry in 1 tbsp vegetable oil until lightly golden. Add lingonberry jam, season with salt & pepper and mix well.
Heat the sauerkraut in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Grill or pan-fry the bratwurst sausages until golden brown.
Mix mustard and beer.
Top each soft pretzel bread stick with bratwurst, sauerkraut, lingonberry onions and beer mustard. Your Bavarian hot dog is ready to serve!
