Vegan Green Spelt Liverwurst - Green Spelt Spread

Zutaten

  • 100 g green spelt
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 clove garlic, small
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp marjoram, dried
  • 25 g vegan butter
  • Salt + pepper

Zubereitung

  • Simmer the green spelt in a pot with the vegetable stock for approx. 30 minutes until soft. If the green spelt is finely ground, the cooking time is reduced to around 10 minutes.
  • Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry in olive oil in a pan until translucent. Add the green spelt, spices and vegan butter and blend everything with a hand blender, either finely or slightly chunky, depending on your own taste.
  • It is best to store the green spelt spread in clean screw-top jars in the fridge. Jars that are not completely filled up can also be frozen wonderfully.
